About YEB

at BITS Pilani

Young Entrepreneurs’ Boot Camp (YEB) at BITS Pilani, K K Birla Goa Campus is a 6-day long residential program for school students (Grade 9 to 12 or equivalent) designed to give a glimpse of technology driven innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem at BITS Pilani. YEB will enlighten and actively engage the participants about various aspects of entrepreneurship through talks, workshops and visits to state of the art facilities at BITS Pilani, K K Birla Goa Campus. The talks will be delivered by eminent professors, entrepreneur’s, scientists, innovators and our distinguished alumni. The students will also get an opportunity to showcase their innovation and entrepreneurial capabilities via “BITS Pilani YEB Innovation Pitching Challenge”. Last but not the least, the program includes a lot of fun and cultural activities for students. Come on board to open the doors to the entrepreneurial world!

Deepak Joy Cheenath

Co-founder at Quizizz
Mr. Deepak Joy Cheenath is a software engineer at heart, with a passion for creating applications that empower and delight users. He is an alumni of BITS Pilani and since 2013, he has been focused on building technology to make learning more fun and engaging. In 2015 he co-founded Quizizz, which now serves over 70 million teachers and students around the world.

Omkarnath Suprabhat Rath

Program Director at MeitY Startup Hub
With over 10 years of experience in electronics and IT, he is the Program Director at MeitY Startup Hub, an initiative by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology to foster India's startup ecosystem. He successfully launched GENESIS, a program supporting startups in Tier-II and Tier-III cities, inaugurated by the Prime Minister in July 2022, which has since supported hundreds of startups. He aims to leverage his technical, research, and customer-facing experience to serve communities through technology. As a socio-political activist, he is dedicated to building a New India. He has received the National Award for Best Actor in a Negative Role (2006) and a certificate for a workshop on LabVIEW and NI-ELVIS (2017). He is committed to #AtmaNirbharBharat and welcomes ideas to support this mission.

Farheen Sayed

State award winning entrepreneur. Farheen Sayed is the Founder and CEO of vanillakart, Marketplace for unconventional Marketing services. Vanillakart caters to the needs of its wide range of clientele through its several automation and SaaS based products .Founded two award winning startups (brushflicks, 2015 and boxifer, 2017) with million dollar valuations. She has been a Blockchain enthusiast and experienced forex and cryptocurrency trader skilled in technical analysis and formulating trading strategies with over 4 years of trading experience. She is the author of the book trading with Japanese candlesticks.

Who can participate

Who can participate in
YEB-Pilani 2025

YEB is designed for school students who are excited about innovations and entrepreneurship. To participate in YEB 2025, you must be a student in any Grade between 9th to 12th (or equivalent). You need to submit your application before March 18th, 2025. It is advised to submit applications as early as possible, and not wait for the deadline.

Application fee is Rs. 500 per student.
Subsidized Fee for YEB 2025 (6-day programme) is Rs.20,000 per student.

This fee is inclusive of Accommodation, Meals, access to campus facilities (like gym, sports etc), access to YEB Lecture Sessions, access to YEB Hands-On Sessions.
