On January 7, 2025, the second day of the Young Entrepreneurs' Bootcamp (YEB) at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus, was an exhilarating journey into the world of entrepreneurship, featuring talks, interactive sessions, and ample opportunities for networking and mentorship. Morning: A Strong Start to the Day
The day kicked off early at 8:00 AM with a hearty breakfast at Dining Hall 1, setting a positive tone for the busy schedule ahead. Attendees then gathered at the Library Seminar Room for a series of engaging talks that laid the foundation for building successful ventures.
Talk 6: Ideating with Student Teams – Problem/Opportunity Identification & One-on-One Mentorship
Dr. Sujatha R led the first session, focusing on the crucial first step of entrepreneurship: identifying problems and opportunities. She emphasized the importance of developing an idea that resonates with real-world needs and how to assess the potential of an idea. Her insights were complemented by personalized mentorship, helping students refine their entrepreneurial vision.
Talk 7: Knowing Your Customer – Customer Segments & Market Research
Mr. Abhik Sengupta took the stage next, sharing his expertise on understanding customers. Afternoon: Building Connections and Sharpening Skills
Interactive Session: How to Pitch Your Ideas Using Lean Canvas Dr. Sujatha, Dr. Sandeep Raut, and Mr. Mir Ali conducted an interactive session on using the Lean Canvas model for pitching ideas. Participants were taught how to succinctly present their startup ideas in a structured and impactful way, helping them perfect their pitch and increase their chances of attracting investors.

After a long day packed with activities, participants gathered at LTC for a movie night. This was a well-deserved break for everyone to relax and bond over a shared cinematic experience, concluding Day 2 of the Young Entrepreneurs’ Bootcamp on a light and fun note.
