Aditya Ruia
A beach clean-up in Mumbai made the Aditya wonder how environmental damage is REAL. He with his group of freinds found an orange wrapper looking at which one of their parent instantly recollected that it was that of a Chocolate Bar which was discontinued in the 1990s. The mega plastic ban was the “moment of enlightenment” for them which led to the rise of Beco – A company that is eco-friendly inside-out.
Beco uses biodegradable and compostable raw materials like bamboo and corn starch to prepare various SKUs of bags, tissues, straws, toothpicks, cotton balls, and kitchen towels. Beco also claims to use recycled and craft paper to package its finished goods in contrast to the plastic packaging used by most of their competitors, hence they are 100% plant-based, plastic-free supply chain.
Beco is expanding its retail outlets to 10K across India and also, increasing its product offerings by launching new cleaner products and personal hygiene products.
